Analyze the difference between TPU film and PES

1. Different ingredients. The main component of TPU film is polyurethane, which is an elastic material. The color can be highly transparent, transparent and white fog surface according to the melting point. The main component of PES film is copolyester, which is more similar to polyester and belongs to a white translucent material. PES film can also be made into milky white.
2. Different elasticity. The color and elasticity of TPU film vary according to the melting point. Generally, the color of TPU film at medium and high temperature is transparent and elastic, and the higher the melting point, the better the elasticity of TPU film, and the more transparent the color. The color of low temperature TPU film is white, translucent and inelastic. No matter which kind of PES film, its main raw material is an inelastic polymer material. Therefore, compared with PES film, TPU film has a wider range of applications.
3. Different washability and price. Both TPU and PES have good washability and can be used for clothing adhesives with washability requirements. But who has better washability, it must be PES film, because water molecules have little influence on the main components of PES (copolyester molecules), are insoluble in water, and can still maintain good viscosity in water, which is not possessed by TPU materials (polyurethane). PES film is widely used in water treatment industry, and its excellent washability is obvious. Compared with TPU film, the raw material of PES film is cheaper and has certain advantages in price.
